Require steps for Modern POS (Retail) in AX.

We have to check following things in AX first before start Modern POS.

1.       Go to IIS , RetailServer  from the application settings set AllowAnonymosMetadat property TRUE . Then browse the URL.

2.       Please check Real Time Service should be in working .(Check Inventory Lookup at POS)

3.       Go to Retail -> Setup -> Channel Integration - > Channel Profile

Create channel profile and assign Media base URL and  RetailServerURL in profile properties.

4.       Check Real-TimeServiceProfile and Channel Profile is assign to store. (Store form)

Click on Publish.

5.       Go to Retail -> Setup ->Parameters -> Retail Shared Parameters -> General

Under Devices set Real Time Service Profile for Device Activation.

6.       Go to Retail -> Setup -> Devices

Against device id set Application and Activation status.

Application – Windows 8 , Activation Status – Pending.

After device activated this status is changed to Activated

7.       Go to Retail -> Common -> Worker

Against the worker check its POS permissions, Manage Device :- Yes

8.       Run below Jobs

1.       Channel Configuration

2.       Registers
